BEHIND THE DESIGN

Faces: Represent all races, ethnicity, nations and sexual orientations. For domestic violence takes women and children of the world and of all color.

Hand held up: Lady in the back holding her hand up high is jesting STOP. In the palm of her hand is the letter “M” for MURDERING, as so does her thumb held out that forms a “V,which stands for VICTIMIZING. STOP MURDERING & VICTIMIZING WOMEN and CHILDREN.

The woman shadowed in a wheelchair represents: Many who are battered can become disabled, just as women who are disabled are brutally victimized and MURDERED.

The praying child: Who has no color or race signifies how children are the INVISIBLE VICTIMS. Many that have witnessed, been MAIMED or MURDERED themselves, due to domestic violence, learn from abusers and may become abusers or victims themselves in adulthood.

The woman from India bearing a red teardrop jewel set in her forehead: Symbolizes the blood that has been spilled in the name of afflicted savagery toward women & children of the world.

While they all bear tears, crying in pain:  STOP, STOP THE MURDERING AND VICTIMIZING OF WOMEN AND CHILDREN –  PLEASE HEAR OUR CRIES.
